Dear world,
I wrote a limerick to remember alport's syndrome:
there was once a young boy named alport
who had a defect in collagen type four
it was x-linked recessive
and though his ears and eyes were affected
the glomerulonephritis bugged him much more
Your welcome.

more art(ish)
I turned 27 last week. I am officially in my late 20s, and it sounds much older than I feel. In high school I definitely imagined that my life would be much more settled at this point, but I think that's ok. Just gotta make sure to have fun, count your blessings, and keep on truckin' I guess.
At any rate, here is something I drew when I couldn't sleep on my bday. I can't for the life of me remember why I decided to draw a train, but I think I was thinking about movement. Someone told me 27 is supposed to be a year of change, but I guess any year can be a big year if you want it to be. I drew the girl bandit because I am trying to learn how to draw faces and I decided to start with the eyes.
I couldn't figure out the best way to take a photo of a drawing so I included two versions here (one with flash and one without).

Attempts at cartooning
This is something I made back in the August when I was experimenting with the idea of using comics to depict med school life. It was a reference to my inability to handle normal life tasks like feeding myself during test weeks. This was during the summer when fresh vegetables were easier to come by. Nowadays I've settled into a routine of oatmeal and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Rounds and rounds of oatmeal and pbj...

Art!(ish)
I kind of started drawing this fall, and my sister says it's a good idea to post your art on the internet so people can tell you what you're doing wrong:).
So, here's something I drew the other night:

This is the greatest and best post in the world... Tribute.
I started a new blog! My old blog kind of lost its way, so I've decided to go for a fresh start.
I imagine Moth Baby will rise like a phoenix from the ashes of what Industrial Moths almost was...
Or maybe it won't and I'll also never post here. Either way, add me to your readers!
Please note: The blog titles are not related, but I'll explain later.
Please also note: This is not The Greatest Post in the World, no. This is just a tribute. Actually, I did write a particularly witty post on my drive down to Massachusetts this past weekend, but I could never reconstruct such lyricism.
In other news: I rediscovered some mix CDs I made in college, hence the Tenacious D reference.
Rock!
